Enhancing the idea "3D technology for everyman" as well as promoting NVIDIA 3DVision ecosystem startegic partners.
Our strategy
The best way to convince wide public to 3D technology is a practical show of its benefits. We arranged two presentations - press conference and 3D PC system show at biggest outdoor scietific event - Scientific Picnic in Warsaw.
Press conference
The conference was aimed at IT, lifestyle and audio-video media. Together with partners (Asus, Acer, LG, Panasonic, Fuji, NEC, Toshiba, Vobis and Komputronik) NVIDIA presented new elements of its 3DVision ecosystem, including 3D camera, premiere notebooka, projectors, monitors and 50"TV LCD 3D.For the first time in Poland we presented 3D Blu-ray films and 3DVision Surround system as well as 3D PCs from VOBIS and Komputronik.
14th Scienitic Picnic
Organised by Polish Radio and Kopernik Science Centre 14the Scientific Picnic gathered thousands of viewers - children, youngsters and adults. Both invited editors and viewers had a chance to try their luck in Need for Speed Shift game on symulator 3D. We arranged the system with Vobis - it was based on 3DVision technology and 2 x GeForce GTX480 in SLI mode.
Results:
Over 30 editors from over 25 titles attended the conference. The outcome were numerous publications on the major , opinion making websites and printed titles. We received words of gratitude from the partners and special thank you letter from the PR MAnager EMEA at NVIDIA - Luciano Alibrandi: " Thought it was a very good event. Great amount of people. Piknik Naukowy gathered tens of thousands of viewers. The booth hosted by Focus magazine where we had "our" 3D PC was also haunted by spectators and editors. The outcome is a nice number of publications and reports in opinion making media including video-report at gaminator.pl, focus, idg, komputerświat, gazeta.technologie, chip.pl.
