Western Digital Web 2.0 activities

Targets:

  • Building and developing WD internet community
  • Reaching and attract with WD products new group of clients (age 18-45)
  • Extending WD European social media network
  • Gathering 5000 active  fans and followers by the end of 2011


Activities:

  • Launch and administration of Western Digital  page on FB
  • Set up and administration of  WD account one Twitter
  • Work FaceMark contest app out and implement it on FB page
  • Organize monthly contests for WD fans on FaceMark platfrom
  • Close cooperation with tech bloggers in case of WD product tests, reviews, opinions, promotion
  • Arrange WD patronage of opinion making tech blog - dailytech.pl   


Results we achieved:

  • Building effective social network, including Facebook, Twiter, tech blogs, forums and discussion groups
  • WD Polska page, set up on FB in October 2010, during 10 months gathered the biggest European WD community, including 3,5 fans and 150 followers
  • High level of fans and followers activity - 3 000 active users per week, 70-120 comments
  • WD contests on FB are very popular - 500-600 participants of each contest
  • DailyTech.pl statistics raised by 50% during WD patronage. In total, 150 people took part in 4 WD contests organized on the blog, WD products reviews were commented 600 timed during 10 months.
